La Mar Cebicheria Peruana

Located within the historic bulkhead building at Pier 1½ on San Francisco’s renovated waterfront, famed Chef Gaston Acurio’s La Mar Cebicheria Peruana now seats an expansive, enclosed patio on the water. The historic shed building served as the boarding area for ferry destinations in the delta on the Delta King and Queen, and the adjacent patio now accommodates over 100 additional guests under a weather protected, permanent canopy that sports operable, full height motorized shades to allow natural light and fresh air inside. After Moss Wong Associates led a rigorous two year entitlement process with the Port of San Francisco, WDAC, BCDC, SHPO and the National Park Service, permission was granted to allow the expansion. Transparency from within the restaurant through the patio allows guests to dine any time of the year with unimpeded views of the bay and bridge beyond.
