Coqueta

Award winning chef, vintner, and sustainable farmer Michael Chiarello opened his first San Francisco restaurant in 2013 to celebrate his love for Spain and its cuisine. Coqueta is the result, a Spanish restaurant at Pier 5 on San Francisco’s historic waterfront, already having earned a stunning 3.5 star review from the San Francisco Chronicle, and place as finalist in the 2013 James Beard awards for Best New Restaurant. With years of experience as design architect for Piers 1½, 3 and 5 and knowledge of the Port of San Francisco’s entitlement and permitting process, Moss Wong Associates lead the design team to secure approvals from the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission, State Historic Preservation Office, National Park Service, Port of San Francisco, and SF Department of Public Health.
