James Beard Award-winning Chef Bradley Ogden and industry veteran Tony Angotti, President/CEO of Bradley Ogden Hospitality, opened BFD in November, 2014. Located across from the Caltrain station in Menlo Park, CA and well-situated for commuters to and from San Francisco and the South Bay, the restaurant is an elevated, upscale roadhouse clothed in natural woods, tile, ornamental wall art, and re-envisioned light fixtures. The warmth of the restaurant is reflected in Ogden’s reinvented Americana menu of classic comfort food made with local and sustainably harvested ingredients. 100 seats inside and an additional sixty porch side, make for a substantially sized and already busy restaurant. Moss Wong Associates as Architect of Record, led the design team and secured approvals from the City of Menlo Park and San Mateo Public Health Department by providing construction documents for permit.
