For this hedge fund management firm, strong, communal sensitivity to the environment translated into the use of reclaimed and rapidly renewable resources. The prefabricated concrete roof structure was intentionally left open to expose ductwork and piping in one of the few fresh air buildings in Marin. Local artisans were commissioned to fabricate the extensive use of steel at the office edges in an effort to express the firm’s commitment to a transparent open office environment and the local community.
